AssisDent
To install the AssisDent patient information system, your operating system needs to be Windows 7, Windows 8, or Windows 10. In order to function correctly, AssisDent requires Microsoft's .NET Framework 4.7.2, which must be installed on your computer before you install AssisDent. The .NET Framework is available for download from the Microsoft Web site. If .NET 4.7.2 is already installed on your computers, the installer will notify you of this.
The AssisDent program is delivered to the customer by e-mail. The Email includes a link to download the AssisDent patient information system installation file. The installation process proceeds automatically once the installation file has been opened. As part of the installation process, AssisDent creates a shortcut on the desktop.
AssisDent can then be started from the desktop using this shortcut icon.
Romexis integration
If the Romexis imaging software is installed on the computer, AssisDent can link to this automatically. However, for smoother operation, it is a good idea to enable the setting for automatically opening the patient's data in Romexis when the patient is opened in AssisDent.
The Start Romexis automatically option can be enabled in the system settings from the Local settings tab. This setting is computer-specific, which means that it must be turned on separately for each computer.
