From the patient record, you can print out either individual visits or, if needed, the patient’s entire visit history.
Please note: In Finland, the registrar can only print documents belonging to its own register. The documents of another registrar cannot be printed without the employee having the document registrar's service unit active on the control panel or the employee having the access right for Printing from common register. When printing documents for the patient themselves or the insurance company, for example, AssisDent tells you to create a notification of transfer. A notification of transfer can also be created manually. Such notifications must be made whenever documents are handed over.
You can print individual visits by selecting one or more of these. Next, click the Print button on the bottom row and then Print selected documents.
To print the entire visit history, click Print and then select Print entire visit history. Please note: In keeping with its name, the visit history includes only the visit documents, so the forms, for example, are not printed. The Print entire visit history function takes into account the service unit and access right settings on the employee card of the person printing the documents and automatically prints from the patient record the patient documents of all the registrars for which the user has printing rights.
If you try to print documents from another registrar, you will not be able to print unless the user's service unit or access right settings allow this. The service unit settings on the user’s employee card should contain a service unit for the registrar of the documents to be printed in order for the printing to be allowed. Alternatively, the user's access rights should include the access right for Printing from common register, which can be used to print documents regardless of which registrar they belong to. If you want to print from the patient record individual documents from one particular registrar, the registrar's documents can be retrieved from the patient record using the Registrar search criterion.
Please note: When printing out using the Printing from common register access right, you must always give a reason for the printing if the documents to be printed include documents from registrars other than one’s own. Printing out using this access right is logged more carefully than other types of printing, and the reason given by the user is retrospectively visible to the Data Protection Officer from the personal data access log.
Next, select whether you want to include status and periodontical entries, dental radiographs, occlusion, soft and hard tissues, or indexes and measurement data. In addition, the latest status and periodontics views can be printed.
Before printing, additional information to be included in the printout can also be added. Please note: Any additional information added to the printout will not be stored in AssisDent or the AssisDent logs.
If you are printing more than one document, you can select whether to print the documents on separate pages or to merge them together. In addition, you can select the order in which the documents are printed, either from oldest to newest or from newest to oldest.
Once the desired print settings have been selected, click Print
