When enabling Internet appointment booking, you need to add a few settings to AssisDent.
If desired, the Internet appointment booking page for customers can be embedded in or linked to one’s home page. To check the address of your Internet appointments page, follow the steps below.

1. Set up Internet appointment booking via the System settings menu
- To enable Internet appointment booking, the service must be turned on in the System settings by going to the Appointment settings tab and selecting AssisDent Internet appointment booking in use.

2. Check the text message settings for Internet appointments
- To send a text message confirmation to customers about creating a new Internet appointment, check the option Creating an Internet appointment booking in the System settings menu entitled Confirmation messages by text message to customer.

3. Create the treatments and treatment packages that can be selected for an Internet appointment
- Available treatments are created through the AssisDent System settings.

4. Create for employees working hours that can be booked online

5. Select for each reason for seeking treatment the employee roles for which the desired treatment can be booked (for example, a dentist, oral hygienist, etc.)
- The roles that can be selected are created through the System settings in AssisDent.

6. Check that the reasons for seeking treatment are in use at the desired clinics
- If the reasons for seeking treatment are in use at all the clinics, they do not need to be selected separately. If the reasons for seeking treatment are only available at some clinics, information about this should be added to the reason for seeking treatment in the System settings menu.

7. If necessary, exceptions regarding the reasons for seeking treatment can be created for individual employees. However, this is not required. The treatment information set on the employee card will then override the Internet appointment settings in System settings.

7. Add additional employee-specific information (e.g. photo, employee description) for Internet appointment booking. This information is not mandatory.
- Add a description of the employee to the employee card and tick Use for Internet appointments and also Reasons for seeking treatment in use for Internet appointments at clinic.

8. Check the deadline for Internet appointments
- This setting allows you to specify how much in advance an Internet appointment booking must be made. By default, this is set to 60 minutes, which means that the customer cannot make a booking less than one hour before the booking would start.

9. Check that the Internet appointment booking page is as you want it, and also check that all employees are visible on the pages

10. To use reminder messages for Internet appointments, check that these are turned on in AssisDent
- In the system settings, check the box for Confirmation messages to the customer by text message under the settings for Creating Internet appointments. The administrator can manage these settings.
